( Cynder “the Queen of Darkness” catches Spyro just after snaring Ignitus while he’s telling Spyro about the war againsed…guess who…Cynder! Gasp! (Oh the irony). However when an unexpected guest enters the Dragon realms the Chronicler decides to share some major secrets with Cynder about dark dragons. ANB through DotD, eventual Cynder x Spyro)
-

Spyro the dragon and his adoptive brother Sparx the dragonfly were quickly running into a meadow after fighting off a platoon of apes when a powerful roar split the air like a knife.

Krrraaaaaaaaahhhhh!

“Aah! What was that?” shouted Sparx

“I don’t know Sparx, and I don’t think I want to find out,” replied Spyro.

Suddenly a colossal winged shadow swept over the entire clearing freezing the two in their place.

Spyro felt a cold merciless stare on his back as he slowly turned his head around, as his eyes saw the figure that cast the shadow his heart stopped and his lower jaw hung agape.

It was a massive creature with a long neck, and huge ominous wings of torn mahogany, black scales covered its long serpentine body from its slimly hooked snout to the end of its long tail which was adorned with a scythe like bayonet, yet no scales shone across its soft underbelly which like its wings shone a beautiful mahogany. Razor like claws erupted from its paws which seemed as if they could slice the little dragon in half with minimal effort.

Then in his panic Spyro made a costly mistake as his eyes wandered into those of his fearsome onlooker and everything stopped, his body, his eyes, and even his thoughts had froze in a great tundra of silence and fear.

The creatures eyes were like blazing azure stars that pierced straight through him with such devastation that he could look at nothing else, and it was then that he wanted to turn, to flee for his life from this…this devil, he wanted to turn because he could not and he new he couldn’t, he wanted to turn away from these beautiful stars that captivated him to no end but he could not for his mind was frozen with feelings that he’d never felt before, fear, desire, anguish, and could this be…love.

He’d recognized this emotion called ‘love’ from the way he felt about his adoptive parents for so long, but how could he love such a thing as he’d never seen it or new it for that matter, yet somehow this creature seemed familiar to Spyro. And it was in these mixed thoughts he lost himself, and hadn’t noticed the creatures’ swift decent until the ground shook beneath his feet and he shook out of his trance.

As the creature now approached him he could see clearly several features that he could not earlier due to the shadow the creature cast. The wrists of its wings were adorned with scythe like hooks that arched away from its body, and two rows of four horns erupted from the top of its head and down its jaw-line, each horn curved back with the angle of its long beak like muzzle, also these eight horns seemed to form a type of crest in that the horns at the top of its head were thick and long while the rest were progressively smaller as they neared the jaw-line. On its neck it wore a metal choker with fore tooth like spikes facing both directions of its body while similar anklets adorned its for-legs and hind-legs, as if it was once held by chains.

It was then that the beast spoke in a harsh voice that chilled him to the bone but surprisingly seemed feminine to him.

“Hello little one,” she cooed.

“He…helul…hi,” Spyro stuttered out barely able to breath.

She chucked at this and Spyro realized he was shaking madly and couldn’t stop shaking.

“ex…cuse me…um-em…ma’am…but…um…what…are you-ou… exactly?” Spyro managed to gasp out between his shaky breathing.

At this she laughed, “Ha! If you weren’t so naïve I’d eat you for that comment,” she said in an ‘oh-yes-I-would’ tone.

Spyro gulped, ‘Eat me! Sh-she would have eaten me already!’ he thought.

“You see little one, I…like you, am a dragon, a dragoness to be precise,” She growled, “You haven’t seen many dragons have you?”

“No ma’am,” replied Spyro as respectfully as he knew how.

“Hmm…better, but you should be more carful about what slips through your teeth purple one, remember you were this close to being my lunch,” growled the dragoness with a hint of glee at the end, she then pulled back her tail blade which was hidden in some shrubs next to the purple dragons left flank.

Spyro hadn’t noticed the bladed even after she pulled it back.

‘Im getting better at that,’ the black Dragoness thought to herself, “Well kid I’m supposed to be somewhere right now but I’d like you to do me a favor,” she cooed.

This caught Spyro by surprise, ‘a favor? What can I do that she can’t?’ he asked himself. “Ok ma’am, what would you like me to do,” replied Spyro.

‘Oh this is just too easy,’ thought the dark dragoness, a sly expression could be seen on her face, “well I’m going to be gone for about one hour do you know how long that is?” she questioned.

“Yes ma’am, sixty minuets,” answered Spyro.

“That’s a good boy, now I just want you to be here when I get back, can you do that?” asked the dragoness.

“Yes ma’am,” replied Spyro.

“Such a well mannered youngling, that attitude will get you far,” she said one last time as she crouched down low, then she shot into the  air as if she weighed nothing at all, “ oh this is just too easy” she said to herself.

Suddenly she realized what she had said and glanced back at the clearing to see the younglings bright yellow tail disappear through the underbrush.

“Well I’ll be a monkeys’ uncle,” she said her voice thick with sarcasm as she did a lazy loop in the air and flew towards the area where the youngling disappeared to.

She glided over the canopy scanning the ground for any trace of purple, and when she actually found the little whelp she noticed that he had entered a cave, she new of this particular cave as she had once used it to ride out a storm after capturing the earth guardian Terador, she knew that the cave exited on the other side of a small canyon not to far away and decided to cut him off in the midst of the cave.

She circled round the cliff that held the cave and entered the exit that was mentioned she then proceeded through the caves at her own leisure until she came to a corner in which she heard voices, very close ones indeed. As she listened she found that she knew both voices the first was the startled yet focused voice of that purple whelp that tricked her, the second one however interested her greatly for it was unmistakably Ignitus the single dragon whom she needed to free her master from the prison that kept him from her.

She listened intently for she would use any information againsed him whilst his powers were being drained into the crystal keys to her masters’ prison.

“We waged war againsed the forces of the dark master for years nether side giving an inch…but then…,” as Ignitus said these words the black dragoness heard with glee as the elders tone changed from slight excitement to pure despair, “…but then…that’s when ‘she’ came.”

“Who,” the youngling asked wanting to hear the rest of the story.

“…Cynder…a monstrous black dragon…as she devastated our ranks, I was forced to watch, and endure as one-by-one she plucked my fellow guardians off the fields of battle…like so many ripe grapes off the vine.”

Cynder was pleased with her introduction and had decided the old fool had ranted long enough, she slid around the corner and snuck up on the old red dragon keeping her wings tucked close to her body to avoid any detection and as she rose up to clamp her claws around her victim she heard the younglings breathing still as he saw her horns, and then she lunged catching the fire guardians back and pinned him to the cave floor, “Grapes off the vine or pigs to the slaughter, either way Ignitus this little game of hide and seek is over!” she cooed to the hapless elder with a harsh chuckle.

“What…Cynder…how did…how long…” Ignitus stuttered.

“Well lets just say I was following pip-squeak over there and…I just so happened to find something...” she stated, “well I found something.”

“Ma’am,” came the little turncoat, “is everything that this dragon told me true, are you really this Cynder monster that he says you are?”

“Is that a question or an insult?” she replied quizitively, “isn’t it obvious to you.”

“No, you’re the first dragon I’ve ever seen besides myself…”

“Fine then I’ll make this short and sweet,” cooed Cynder almost purring out the last part, “Everything that this dragon told you is totally…” she growled out as if she was about to deny something.

Spyros breath caught as he locked eyes with Cynder once again.

“True,” she almost sang out with a hungry look in her eyes.

The purple hatchling practically threw a panic attack while attempting to run away, but Cynder was feeling peckish from the extra flying the little dragon put her through, and decided to munch him down.

Just as Spyro slipped into the air she opened her long maw and shot her head forward, snapping her jaws tight around the purple hatchling, ‘perfect fit,’ noted Cynder as she craned her neck back and took one huge deep swallow and downed the young dragon whole, forcing her slender throat to bulge as her meal slid down into her chest cavity, she arched her back as the lump of meat slid into her emptied and sensitive belly, “hmmm,” cooed the dragoness while licking Spyros taste from the insides of her mouth, “not bad…better than most of the things I shove down my throat actually,” she cooed to herself.

“ma’am”, came a voice from inside her abdomen, “what ever I did to offend you I’m truly sorry.”

“I know your sorry, but that’s not getting you out of this situation any time soon,” cooed Cynder, as she sat up on her haunches and poked her stomach with a claw to tease the little pip-squeak.

“I’ll tell you what, If your good and quiet during the whole trip back to my lair, I’ll let you out,” she announced, continuing to tease the youngling, “heh if you survive that long that is.”

At this Ignitus snapped into action and rammed his horns into her gut trying to get her to throw up, however she didn’t even flinch from the impact as she wrapped her tail around the red dragons’ throat and squeezed, coiling her tail around Ignitus’ torso.

“You dare strike me?” Questioned the Queen of Darkness, while she strangled the air out of the old fire dragons’ lungs, “I’ll have to think of a fitting punishment for you after I sap your elemental strength for the release of my master, seeing as you trapped him in that odd convexity place.”

Cynder continued to squeeze until Ignitus passed out, and then she continued for a few seconds until she finally relented and dropped him, the Dark Queen then grasped the elder by the scuff of the neck with her sharp fangs and carried him out of the cave, where she dropped him again only to grasp his shoulders in her hind claws before recoiling like a spring and launching into the sky.

She flew northward’s at a steady pace along the way she flew through a flock of gees snapping up several of the large fowls and scattering the rest.

Spyro was napping when he  suddenly found himself covered in white feathers, he spat and coughed as some of the feathers got in his maw but said nothing of it remembering what his captor had told him, he simply put up with it and was rocked back to sleep by Cynders smooth flying movements.

When Cynder finally arrived at her castle she flapped her wings harder to climb to the top of the shortest tower, where she dropped Ignitus and seized him once again in her powerful jaws, she then dragged him to a machine where, by her call, several large apes locked his paws to the machine.

“Wakey wakey Ignitus, time to get up,” cooed the black dragoness while tapping Ignitus on the head with a fore-claw.

Ignitus remained motionless, despite her best efforts to wake him, “I know your not dead you old fool your still breathing,” she roared as she sunk her tail scythe into the red dragons underbelly.

“Wow he’s out cold,” she said to herself, “either I’m getting stronger or this guys older than dirt.”

She then proceeded to open the portal to convexity where she flew through the odd  space stream before exiting in one of the strangest planes of existence, ‘Convexity’ the gate between worlds.

There were many simple platforms of rock floating in the void, and several planets could be seen in the distant background, in the center of the platforms a single large platform hovered and on this central platform stood a pedestal with stairs rising up to it’s stand where a purple energy rushed up and out of a portal and covered the sky with a blanket of purple.

Cynder flew to this nameless central platform and landed on its edge, she followed her path to the flowing purple light and stopped at the staircase where she sat on her haunches and waited for the voice she knew would soon speak from the light.

“Hello again general Cynder,” came a strange voice which carried both a medium tone and a much lower tone, “what news do you bring me from the outside world?”

“Hmm you’ll be pleased to know that I have just successfully captured Ignitus and he is currently being drained of his energy,” announced Cynder, “ you’ll most likely be out of this place by tomorrow afternoon.”

“Yes that is pleasing news, but what of the purple egg?” questioned the voice.

“He he, well lets just say…I had some lunch on the way here,” stated Cynder.

“You ate it?” questioned the voice.

“He went down quite nicely, it was actually one of the best meals I’ve ever had,” she moaned, while caressing her tummy with her right fore-claw.

“Well then don’t just sit there spit him up so I can get a look,” the voice commanded.

“Aaaaww, I was hopping you’d let me ‘keeeep’ him,” she cried before placing her for-paws on her belly and heaved inwards while arching her back, reducing the space in the cavity where Spyro was lodged and forcing him forward, the lump reappeared in her throat and traveled upwards, when the lump reached her mouth she opened her maw and spat out the little purple dragon with a wet smack as he hit the ground.

“Oof, you could’ve been more gentle ya know…” groaned the drool covered Spyro, he then grimaced and whined, “oooooh, I’m gonna feel that in the morning.”

“Why you little…” Cynder growled threateningly before she was cut off by the voice.

“Cynder that’s enough,” at this Cynder shut her maw and sat up straight showing she was listening.

“I’m actually impressed with this hatchling, he survived in your stomach for nearly three hours,” stated the voice, “especially considering the potency of your stomach acid due to your power over poison.”

This surprised Cynder as she had never been able to impress her master and she felt a knot in the stomach where the hatchling was just a few moments ago, but at the same time she was also impressed for she had one time eaten one of the larger apes out of hunger when her master had ordered her not to be fed as punishment for questioning him on his past, he’d later told her that she would be forgiven because he had forgotten that he had given the order and for that her actions were justified, however she had only swallowed the monkey for ten minuets when she dry gagged by accident and emptied her stomachs’ contents onto a large flat rock which instantly melted several inches due to the corrosion from her stomach acid, all that was left of the monkey was some fur and bones…

‘Two hours…’ that monkey must have died within ten seconds, there wasn’t a scrap of meat left of him.’ thought Cynder, ‘Yet this little pip-squeak lasted a whole ‘Two Hours’ in there? a’

“Yes I’d forgotten about that little trait of mine, and now that you mention it I do agree,” Cynder purred, “master if you’re planning to recruit this one, may I request responsibility over him?”

“You just did…and yes Cynder you may and shall,” the voice spoke, “however Cynder I would like to know why you would make such a request?”

Cynder felt a slight blush at this, “we-well you see master, he taste on my tongue pleases me, and I seem to have somehow acquired an attraction to him in that sense,” Cynder explained.

“Interesting, and whilst he is in your care I’ll expect you to resist the temptation to consume him, however…” stated the voice, “if he begins to show signs of insubordination then I ‘Malefor,’ the Dark Master, do hereby grant you permission to re ingest this dragon as punishment.”

“oOOooh, here that, your gonna be my little helper,” the black dragoness announced with a playful growl, “and if you behave you’ll grow big and strong like momma Cynder, but if you’re a bad boy then I get to be a ‘bad’ girl,” Cynder said with a tone that made Spyro shut his eyes and shake from his nose to his tail and even then he could swear the air behind him shook too.

“Well then if this youngling is to be under your care then he’ll need to grow into his position and fast,” said Malefor, “Cynder if you would, please take him to Gaul and tell him to use level one, he’ll know what to do.”

“Yes master I shall do that,” said Cynder while approaching Spyro, whom had now stopped shaking, she mused at this and took the youngling back into her maw with a single fluid motion, however she was carful not to swallow as such an action would upset her master and in turn bring punishment upon herself.

“Well then general Cynder, you are dismissed, report back to me with the guardian fire Crystal the second it is complete so I may be free of this prison,” Malefor growled with annoyance present in his ever changing voice.

Cynder then dipped her head in a bowing motion, with Spyros purple tail writhing with annoyance from between her sharp fangs, she then backed away still facing the light out of respect and when she reached the edge of the clearing the other voice called out to her, “And Cynder…you need to hurry, I don‘t think I‘m alone in here” nodding the black beauty turned and flew towards the portal to the dragon realms.
--
The massive portal reappeared over Cynders dark castle, and out flew the queen of darkness landing before Ignitus’ limp form, strapped to the power draining machine that Gauls apes had now turned on, a black crystal sat on a pedestal in front of the machine with several wires running from the machine to the crystals pedestal. Cynder then noticed with pleasure that the old dragons’ eyes were open though they drooped slightly with tired worry.

‘I think I’ll have some fun and mess with old rusty here,’ thought Cynder, she then spat Spyro into her claws and waived him by the tail in Ignitus’ face with an obnoxious toothy grin from eye-to-eye.

“Oh sugah-honey” she sung huskilly, her voice dropping to a low baritone

Ignitus’ looked up but to her dismay his expression remained emotionless, a perfect mask.

“Oh this doesn’t bother you ‘sugah’,” stated Cynder, “your surprised I let him back out and your relieved that he’s still alive.”

Ignitus’ looked shocked and then looked pissed, “What do you know Miss. Monster?”

“Oops, Spyro I don’t think he should have said that,” cooed Cynder as her tummy gave a soft growl.

“Ignitus don’t say that word,” complained Spyro.

“What…monster?”

Cynders belly growled again but this time louder than the first, “yes that word, it seems to make her hungry…or exited, one or the other, anyways-” Spyro said in a hurried fashion before Cynder cut him off.

“-Nope, he shouldn’t have said that at all,” she said in a very belittling manner before she raised Spyro above her head and opened her jaws.

“No wai…” was all Ignitus got out before she dropped the little dragon into her gapping maw.

Spyro fell face-first wedging his muzzle between the roof of her maw and her sticky red tongue, she opened her maw even wider and Spyro slid in to the back of her throat, Cynder closed her maw over the hatchlings body making her cheeks and craw bulge outward, Spyros purple tail still hung out the end of her tightened maw, Cynder promptly slurped his tail in, pushing Spyros head into her throat for a second before her tongue readjusted the hatchling, Cynder then strolled over to Ignitus and gave him a close up view of her throat, she then tilted her head so that it lined up with the ground vertically and swallowed the young dragon once more.

Spyro slid into Cynders gullet as gravity pushed his body down her slim crimson throat at a sluggish pace. Cynder felt the hatchling squirm from the contact and reveled in the sensation. She sat on her haunches and brought her head back down to look at her own neck as he reached the base of her throat. She then decided to keep this going just a little longer to keep these pleasing sensations running, and she flexed a series of muscles in her throat, this effectively stopped the bulge from descending any lower, she then took her free forepaw and began stroking the bulge pushing it further down, when it reached her chest she got an idea, she brought up her other forepaw and slowly inserted the bulge into her torso, the sensation was much more pleasing to her and brought a soothing warmth into her normally cold torso, she suddenly felt the hatchling slip into a different path, she became curious as she hadn’t known she had such a path, yet this second throat brought the purple hatchling deeper into her elegant form than anything that she’d ever eaten, deep into a chamber very close to her heart but closer still to her belly.

“That’ll do for now, Later Iggy Im off to turn something purple, black.”  stated the dark queen before strutting off toward the second highest tower.
Cynder vores you all MUAHA...oh shit HERE SHE COMES RUN FOR IT.
